[What is this?]
Cozy Japan is a collection of pixel art inspired by the quiet charm of Japanese towns, Ghibli-like scenery, and the peaceful moments that make a place feel like home. (* ˘⌣˘)◞🌸
I recently lost my job in the game industry, and decided to dedicate some time to a personal project. This is not professional level, but I really hope it can bring some joy to other people as well! (╥﹏╥)♡

✧ Improved tilesets – stone paths, beach, new houses..
✧ New NPCs & Monsters – inspired by Japanese myths and legends
✧ Farming features – rice paddies, animals, fishing?
✧ Modern Japan Pack – city-side assets
✧ Regional packs – Hokkaido, Okinawa... I dont know yet hahaha

we do not even know all their names!
we will be honest: we are a big fan of Kaz Togo, and he has done many of those. but! it is all in 32x32. now that we are considering a whole neighborhood, your size will probably be a better idea. ^_^;;
is it okay to modify it? it is all non-commercial. our characters are just picky. [sigh]
oh! could we make a request? can you do namako walls, please? nothing fancy. we can't figure out how to do shihanbari which looks like: XXXXX . no one else on itch.io has done that, so you would be ahead!
